Bulk rack safety supports are used in conjunction with particle board decking to maximize shelf capacity. The safety supports are positioned every two feet. For a 72" beam 3 supports are needed and for a 96" beam 4 supports are needed per level. The supports fit in the step of the beam to allow to board to sit flush with the beam.
